The setting where by book takes place is at the beach a house and Iraq hospital and grave yard nursing home it took place at the beach by where john first meat savhanah and where they went and talked while savhannah was crying it took place in Iraq when john recived the letter when savhannah broke up with him and where he found out his dad had his first heart attack the nursing home and it was when john sent his father afterhe figured out that his dad was not safe at home and he sent him there and that was where john last saw his dad alive
